Mackenzie loves books!

One of Mackenzie's favorite things to do is pull all of her books out of her bookshelf. She will take a break every now and then to sit down and flip through some, but mostly it's just the act of pulling them all out that she really enjoys!

11 month update

Mackenzie - you are 11 months old! As you can tell from these pictures, you are ALL OVER THE PLACE! I can't keep you still for even a few seconds. You are so independent and want to do everything by yourself! You are walking really well with the help of a push toy and you like pushing it up and down the hall.

You are always smiling (unless you're teething!) and such a happy baby! You like to clap and wave "bye bye". You are so smart and you absorb everything around you.

Daddy and I love you more than words could ever say! You truly brighten our lives!

My First Mother's Day

My very first Mother's Day was so wonderful thanks to Matt, Mackenzie, and the rest of my wonderful family! I didn't get many pictures, but the few that I did get are pretty cute!

Baby Einstein

Now, I try really hard not to let Mackenzie watch a lot of TV, much less encourage her to watch it. BUT - as all of you other Mommies know...sometimes you gotta do what you GOTTA DO. In order to clean up the house a little bit, I put in her Baby Einstein "Discovering Water" DVD and hit "play".

I'm pretty sure that I ended up taking pictures of how cute she was more than cleaning, but oh well!

Visit to Nan's

We made a stop at Nan's house today so that she could visit with Mackenzie. They read some books which is one of Mackenzie's very favorite things to do! We even took a quick family pic before we left!
