Mackenzie - Your very first day of Daycare was a very big day!! I can't believe it's already time for you to be in daycare. It was a really rough day for me, but we both made it through! You weren't taking a bottle before, but the ladies at daycare had you taking a bottle by the end of the week! Ms. Trudi, Ms. Lisa, Ms. Jamie, Ms. Wanda, and Ms. Chelsea are great teachers and they are so sweet to you! You finished the week with a little bit of a cold, but I think daycare has been very good for you. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you and we can't believe how much you've grown. You're my very favorite little girl and I thank God for you every day!

The many (funny) faces of Mackenzie...
I think this photo session is one of my favorites so far! So many expressions...I especially love the last one!

Oh for the love of accessories!!
Aunt Lili and Presley got this adorable outfit for you, Mackenzie! See how cute you are?!?! This started Mommy's new obsession with bows for your hair! You are so beautiful and I love you so much!!

Mississippi Family
Mackenzie's maternal grandmother, great-grandmother, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt (??) came through town on their way back from a family reunion in Ohio (so sorry we missed it! Maybe next time Aunt Gloria!!) and we had a blast!
Nonna (my mother) was delighted, of course, to see her sweet Mackenzie again. It has been almost a month since she saw her last! Everyone else, Mimi, Aunt Cathy, and Aunt Debbie were excited to meet Mackenzie for the first time. As you can tell from the following pictures, she is very loved!!

Sleeping Good
Mackenzie - you are sleeping so good at night! I didn't think that you would be sleeping through the night until you were 6 or 7 months old and I'm so proud! Now, I'm not going to be silly about this - I do realize that at any point and time you could decide to change your sleep pattern, but I'll take it as long as you'll allow it!
I remember the first time you slept through the night - it was Thursday, July 17th. We went to sleep at about 10:00 p.m. and you didn't wake up until 5:30 the next morning. As awesome as that was, I think I was more scared that something was wrong. After all...before this you were waking up every 2 to 3 hours. And you've been sleeping well ever since!
Here are some pictures of you napping a couple of weeks ago (I'm already behind on our new blog!) at 7 1/2 weeks. I had to actually wake you up to change you and feed you...
